Is there a hotel in Pecos, TX with a full kitchen?
Box Villages Pecos is not a hotel. It is a community of 237 furnished suites, and every one has a full kitchen or kitchenette with a refrigerator, cooktop, and microwave. You get your own front door and your own bathroom, and studio and two-bedroom suites have their own washer and dryer. Minimum stay is seven nights in a duplex suite, and thirty nights in a studio or two-bedroom suite.
What is the minimum stay?
It depends on the suite. Duplex suites have a seven night minimum. Studio and two-bedroom suites have a thirty night minimum. Stays of 30 consecutive nights or longer also come off the Texas hotel occupancy tax when you book direct with us.
Do you allow pets?
Yes. Box Villages Pecos is pet-friendly. The pet fee is $60 per pet, one time, with a maximum of two pets per suite.
Is there laundry in the unit?
Studio and two-bedroom suites have their own washer and dryer in the unit. Duplex suites do not, but there is a laundry facility on the property for duplex residents.
Is parking free?
Yes. Parking is included with your suite, and it is right at your door. There is on-site storage available as well.
Do you take monthly or corporate bookings?
Yes. We block-book doors for energy services, midstream, EPC, and logistics crews, with one point of contact for the whole group. Tell us headcount and dates and we will quote it.
How far is it from I-20?
About one mile. It is two to three minutes from the off-ramp to the gate, so crews are on the interstate fast in the morning and back quickly at night.
Do I pay hotel occupancy tax?
Not on stays of 30 consecutive nights or more. Texas exempts those stays from hotel occupancy tax, and booked direct that savings comes straight off your bill.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. High-speed fiber Wi-Fi is included in every suite, fast enough to work, stream, and video-call home after a shift.
How do I check in?
Check-in is digital. We send your door code by text before arrival, so you can get in whenever your shift ends, day or night. The office is open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily, and someone is on the property after hours if you need a person.

How far is Box Villages Pecos from the rest of the basin?
Drive distances from the gate: Orla 35 miles, Monahans 41, Fort Stockton 53, Van Horn 75, Carlsbad 80, and Midland (MAF) airport 89. I-20 is about a mile away, so most crews are rolling within minutes.
Is there storage on site?
Yes. There are 24 storage units on the property, so tools and gear do not have to live in your truck or your living room.

Both work. You can check availability and book direct on our booking page any time, or call 432.287.8300 and a person will set it up. Booking direct is where the best rate lives, and it is how the 30-plus night tax exemption gets applied.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Box Villages Pecos is a non-smoking property, inside the suites and in the units around you. It is one of the reasons a suite here does not smell like the last guest.
Are utilities included?
Yes. Electricity, water, and high-speed fiber Wi-Fi are all included in your rate. One number, no separate bills to set up for a job that ends in a few months.
How many people can stay in one suite?
It depends on the layout. Duplex suites and the Business Suite sleep two. The 2 Bed Studio Suite, 3 Bed Studio Suite, Double Suite, and Family Two Bedroom Suite sleep four.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Stop by the office and we will see what is open. Booking ahead is safer during busy stretches in the basin, but we will not turn you away at the gate.
